Lost Reverse in 2004 Z06
A accidentally posted in C6 first, but my 2004 Z06 with 31K miles made a grinding sound for about 5 seconds at 65mph in 6th gear then resumed normal operation today. When I stopped, I no longer had reversed gear. The car is gently driven and was serviced in December. I would appreciate it if anyone has knowledge of this kind of failure.

Not sure specifically what you mean by "lost" reverse. But typically when you can't get it in gear, there's not much more that can be done other than a rebuild. RPM trans. gave me a good deal and I've had zero trouble for over 30k mi.
