how long are the ctek battery connecting cables, i.e., can i place it on the ground and have the cords reach the battery, or would i have to let it rest somewhere inside the engine bay with the extension cord running underneath?

thanks.

With I wired mine up there was plenty of cable to plug it in and lay the charger on the floor. The cord on the charger reaches the wall outlet since I park the car on the right side of the garage. Its going to work very well for me.

I have five chargers in the garage (Vette and motorcycles). I am waiting for at least one to take a dump so I can try the CTEK.

WOW! Ordered a Ctek charger last night and received an email from David Wood today that my charger was on the way. This was my first purchase but, man, you just can't ask for better service than that.
Thanks David.

Yes, it can lay on the ground...there is plenty of cable.

Thanks,

Early posts on this thread indicated the CTEK charger was made in Sweden. I just received a new 3300 and it clearly states on the box, "Developed in Sweden, Made in China". Never the less, it appears to be a quality product. Time will tell.

I love these chargers. They are simple to use and very small.

I bought one to charge my Red Top. The charging lights quit working so I threw it away.

Seriously? Why would you not simply contact us and get another one under warranty? To each his own, but seems like a waste of money to just toss it out. We would of gladly replaced it for you.

I got rid of my red top at the same time. Bought a Kirklands. Don't need charger anymore. PITA.

Like is said, I got rid of the red top and simply don't need one anymore. I'm not sure I bought it from you.

Is it $69.95 when using the "CTEK" coupon code?

Question about my Ctek 3300?

The top 3 lights that show the battery full status no longer light up. They did work at first but they never come on anymore. Any concern?

Same thing happened to mine. Couldn't tell when the battery was charged.

hmmmm...never seen that before. I wonder if the LED's just burned out, they should be on.

How long have you had it for?

Thanks,

Jim

And you don't need a charger anymore because........? What does the battery brand have to do with it?

I've got 2 CTEK 3300's one for the Vette & one for my SUV. The CTEK gave me a flashing red led on the SUV & sure enough the battery was going bad (several yr old Interstate). IMO the CTEK's are a great product.

I have purchased four, or five Battery Tenders over the years and I have only one survivor left. I don't want to say anything bad about them, but my personal experience is that I generally only get about 2-3 years of service from them ... YMMV. I bought two CTEK 3300's about five years ago and both are still going strong. My only regret is that I didn't stumble onto them sooner.
