I saw this one earlier on the Canadian Forum. The general opinion was that the driver needed lessons in doing burnouts.

Shouldn't get locked - it was at a track. That was one expensive day for the Z06 owner.

Active handling turned off? I though you were supposed to stay out of the water box?

I wonder if he tried to claim that accident on his insurance.

I feel bad for the guy. Stuff does happen. It's easy to Monday morning QB anything making it simple for all of us (including the driver of the Z06) to say what he did wrong and what he should and should not have done.

It won't get locked, however it might get moved...

I love how the collective groans turn into laughs. I'm sure a few F-bombs were dropped as well.

I couldn't tell what kind of tires he had, but I can say that my burnouts, launches, and runs all got WAY cleaner once I put my Hoosier DOT drag radials on the car. Street tires are just way too unpredictable for drag racing. I've seen a dozen real street cars hit the wall over the years, and ALL of them were on treaded tires.
