Just wondering if your Governor, Scott Walker might have something to do with the crackdown.
He already revoked collective bargaining rights for public employees. Probably Troopers are included so everyone is pissed off and may have some big quotas to fill or get laid off.
I'll be as kind as I can with the closing comment: Governor Scott Walker Sucks!
Sorry about your less than perfect day, that's a bummer I'm sure.

i support walker and what hes doing. but we wont get into that. haha. (police, and firefighters are not effected by whats going on)
I didnt get an attitude until he had already told me everything. I wouldnt say i was giving an attitude i suppose. I was just commenting on how nearly 75% of vehicles on the road dont have the "stock" loudness of exhaust. (anything louder than stock is illegal)

Wisconsin tint laws.

California allows 70% front side windows and 4" at top of windshield.

Sorry about the heavy tickets dude, that does break the day. Its just equipment violations tho, no points on your driving record.
The tail light violations are for you own safety tho; there's a few times I'd be driving behind blackedout tail/brakes and I could not see their lights...almost donated my front bumper to their rearbumper a few times. Now imagine someone behind you with less than excellent vision and slower reflexes. Its does look cool tho.
You could fight the exhaust; if you have a decibel meter to measure, and know the local laws(word for word) on accepted sound level.
I've had my share of tickets(24 yrs ago), first ones were equipment violations...told judge I fixed them...judge dismissed those. At the time of getting those tickets, I tried to argue with the cop logically...he quickly lessoned me with specifics. From that I learned if one ever tries to win in the eyes of the law...you better know more pages of law than the law knows.

yeah. the tail light covers isnt a big deal for me. i think they look better with the covers on. but its no problem.
i MIGHT try to fight it. just to see what happens. but I dont know which courthouse to go to. not to mention I dont have time or anything like that. If I can just call and talk to the DA, that would be nice

wow man he was pissed at you lol. I dislike Wisconsin troopers. They have a SERIOUS attitude fromt he ones i've ran into. I did, however, get pulled over doing 81 in a 65 there and the officer let me off with a verbal warning so he was in a good mood that day As for the exhaust i would have laughed at him and said it IS stock. He can't prove otherwise as it looks like the stock C6 tips. I've got a heads/cam/LT's and B&B PRTs and not one cop has given me crap about my exhaust being loud. It's VERY loud but you won't see many cops give you crap here when you have guys in trucks w/ straight pipes running around. Tint levels in MN is 50% and NO tint on the windshield unless it's at the very top. The front door side windows are not to be tinted at all. If i do my glass it's gonna be 35% and be done. I'm gonna get a eye doctor prescription for the tint and they can't do a thing about it. I swear the lights hurt my eyes at night

Try this - DON'T BREAK THE LAW.
Okay, maybe a bit harsh...the window tinting maybe a judgement call on that BUT the blackouts - YES, you should get a ticket. The turn signals -YES ticket. I'm suprised you didn't have the smiked cover over your rear license plate too.
You are altering a DOT approved system. The LEO is doing his job to keep the highways safer.
Sucks dude.....but I'm not just hammering on you, my other B!tch is the bubba in his 4x4 lifted up 36" over stock, wheel sticking out 6" fromm the fender well spitting rocks and debris all over everyone else's car.

^ No as long as it's legal in YOUR state you should be fine. As long as the vehicle is registered in a state that allows darker tint. They can try but it will get tossed because each state varies. I believe it's called the "good and faithful" law or something along those lines

LEO might be doing a job, but he's being a deuchenozzle at the same time.

the vehicle needs to conform to the laws of the State it is Registered in

99.9% of cops are good cops but you have those few that are bad but they can't seem to be gotten rid of. I had a buddy of mine who was being taunted by a guy in a Mustang. They ended up racing, then the cop got a friend of his to try and give him a DR ticket a few days later. Needless to say they wanted to talk to him and he gave them his lawyers card.
That cop was fired from the local PD, got a job with Sheriff dept, got fired there and is working in a small town not too far away from where I live. I foresee that town getting sued, for his actions, sometime in the future and I am no Nostradamus.

Roll down your window and have your hands should be on the wheel before the cop approaches. After the cop addresses you tell him you have a concealed weapon's permit; you should not have obtained it ahead of time. Then follow the cop's instructions when he asks you where the weapon is and his instructions to obtain your CWP, DL, vehicle registration, and proof of insurance. I used to work with sheriff deputies and verified all of this. The stops I mentioned in the previous paragraph were from local cops while I worked at the sheriff's office.
Be careful guys, one bad cop can ruin your record.
