Mr.Bill

I like these and would avoid the 20" rubber band look. Fikse makes great wheels.

Is there any good argument for staying with the stock 17/18
setup besides weight

Default My new C5 wheels

3-piece NC Forged wheels. 20 & 19 inch. HRE caps on them for now as NC forged are rare to find. This is the only Vette with these wheels I have ever been able to find, due to the crazy price tag on them no doubt.
Look similar to the old HRE 540 wheels only better. That is my Dad driving up in the Customized Ferrari 308 GTB in the background.

Mine is a daily driver, but in California. Never snows here. Good luck though.

Who is that driving up in the customized Ferrari waaaaaaay down the.... Oh wait you mentioned that.

Better than HRE eh? Because of the center caps or what? Those are assembled in Cali I would think it wouldn't be that hard to find caps.

Quality is on par, I was talking about the looks of this vs. the HRE 540 wheel (In my opinion). Both are made in CA. and are 3-piece forged wheels. These are lighter than the HRE in the same size, however.

Are they Hub-Centric? I saw some for sale in Long Beach recently on ebay for $1800. Are these the same wheels?

I just picked up a set of these with the black lip and machine face for my black coupe. I'm runnung a 1/2" spacer out back (with longer studs) and a 1/4" up front. They are perfectly flush and looking amazing. They look great on a sliver car as well! Highly recommended.
