Default Engine removal for an intermediate - opinion?

I've pulled the engine out of several 4 cylinders, my Nova, etc, but I've only ever added bolt ons to the vette.

I have a good range of tools, but no lift. Reading here, it doesnt LOOK too bad to pull it from the top, but I figured I'd ask? Are there any very specific tools or things I'd need to be on the lookout for?

thanks!

Might post this over in the C5 Tech section. Good luck with the work.

Yep, there was a thread not too long ago of someone pulling the engine, with pics.

The Corvette is designed to frop the engine, rahter than lift it.
The front suspension and engine all sit in a "cradle" that drops down.
