Plasti Dipped my Z06
hey guys. i plasti dipped my rear and front bumper. i love the rear, but i think im going to re-do my front. Im not to sure on the sharp point i made where the horizontal and vertical line meet. Im also going to have to copy of another member here with the yellow vette and do my turn signal and vent area. Here are the pics (from my cell phone)

I like the look on the back but I don't care for the front.

me personally, im not a fan of the lower black panel. I don't want to copy the C6, but if you are going to do it go with the plasti dip as it can be changed back. Work is good though.
Never seen it on the front, and the idea is original. I agree with you on the sharp corner. If you rounded them so it was not just a straight corner you might be on to something.

heres a link with a different approach to the front. I might go outside and rip the front off. i think im just going to try to round off the edges like this yellow vette and do the fog light/blinker area.

Trios: not really a fan of it all the way around.
For those who dont know what Plasti Dip is, if you just click on the link above its got a lot of info in there. To make a long story short, you spray it on like paint and when it dries if you dont like the outcome you can just peel it off without any damage to the paint. only prep work i did was wash the car then wipe the area down with alcohol and spray it on.

Alright guys i appreciate the opinions on the front bumper. Since i was on the fence about it you all pushed me in the right direction. So i just took off the front portion and took a pic to show you just how easy it comes off.

You may be able to make a tap line of a rounded edge then take a razor blade and lightly score the surface. You may be able to peel off what you dont want while keeping the rest intact that way you wont have to repaint it all again. But I am not 100% sure if that will work but its worth a try.

^^ yes you did bc yours is awesome! in the post above i just peeled it off and took a pic to show how easy it was. I may just leave the bottom alone now that i think about it bc i want to get a front lip soon. But i for sure want to do the fog light/blinker area!
