Headlight Bezel (maybe stupid) Question
Good afternoon all,
I just had a thought about the headlight BLACK surround bezels and was looking for input.
Does anyone or has anyone ever painted the black bezels surrounding the headlights that pop up with the headlight on a C5???
Is this a stupid idea??
Day in and day out I see the bezels and they look so bland compared to everything else on the car with that flat black.
I know that they typically aren't seen because it is dark or cloudy when the headlights come up but with my sudden LED craze...

There have been a few posts in the past where the owners painted their bezels the color of their exterior. I remember seeing an Anniversary Red with matching light bezels. I also remember seeing one in silver.

I painted mine a few years ago for the same reason. I used a metallic black...it really looks great in daylight when the lights are popped up, like at a car show....the little bit of glimmer from the metallic flakes in the black paint is just right IMHO. I also did my wipers with the same paint for coordination, and it works out nicely.

I've seen pics of some cars with the headlight bezels painted body color - some look good, some not so good.
