Waterfall emblem vs. trunk emblem... ?
RE: the oval crossed-flags C5 emblem... is there any difference between the "waterfall emblems" that vendors are selling and the OEM rear trunk emblem?
They look the same to me in pics, but the prices seem to be quite different from waterfall-to-trunk and vendor-to-vendor. I need the OEM trunk emblem, mine got stolen.

Holy crap, Blitz, were you sitting at your PC with all of that loaded up and ready to fire? 
The waterfall emblem for sale by the Forum vendors is intended for the coupe/Z owners who want to put one on their console. I'm not 100% sure, but the emblem they're selling looks different than the one on your 'Vert. Are those chrome overlays on the OEM emblems?

Thx for the info... that's a little fancy for me, though, and the punks that stole my 9-year old plastic one wouldn't be able to resist taking something that actually looked like it's worth something!

Way different. The waterfall emblem, as mentioned, is curved and made out of a plastic that doesn't flex very much. The size is slightly different I believe also. The biggest difference is that the waterfall emblem (the stock O.E.M one) has alignment pegs and the trunk emblem just uses two sided tape.

I beleive mid america actually list waterfall emblem and rear hatch emblem as the same. not sure about the trunk. I purchased one from them and it fit as a perfect replacement on my hatchback. No alingment pegs on the coupe one either, just double sided tape.
