Default Where did my 2010 tax refund $$ go you ask?

Towards this:

Before with 18/19 SSR's...

After with 19/20 TSW Nurburgring Matte Gunmetal...

Wheels were purchased from a local CF member (Alilpsi). Thanks Charlie!

Surprisingly, the TSW's with tires are smaller in overall diameter to my SSR setup, leading to a more pronounced wheel gap now. Also, the TSW's are designed to accept a BBK, and my stock C5Z06 calipers look absolutely tiny behind these wheels.

I like the SSR's alot and was going to powdercoat the centers black, but evidently went another direction altogether when the TSW's became available. I'm told they are pretty expensive so I'll hang on to them for now.

Thanks for the comments guys!!

Very nice...I might pick up a set for my Silver Z someday as well. Enjoy!

BTW - who painted the rear of your Z black? What did it cost?

The painted rear fascia was already done when I purchased the Z, so I don't know the particulars. I could certainly ask the previous owner (msnbound) who still lurks about on this forum from time to time, as he is a current C6Z owner, but misses his C5Z I'm sure! Isn't that right Dennis??

Tom
The previous owner of the wheels (Alilpsi) had them made up for him, I believe by the shop he purchased the wheels from.

Looks nice...but so did the old ones. Not a fan of the color change on your roof though. I think it looked better silver.

The roof is wrapped, thus going back to silver is pretty simple. I like the SSR's as well, and may still end up getting the centers powdercoated and re-mounted on the Z.
