Anyone Install Suede In Their C5 Interior?

I used Black Alcantra accents on mine. Seats show no wear after several years. The Alcantra on the Steering Wheel was a mistake - hard to hold on to and hard to maintain (but doable). When I ordered the Alcantra I expected it to be similar to my Suede jackets, but it looks more like a heavy-duty felt - not nearly as elegant as any of my suede garments, but since it is thin I am sure they prefer working with that material for car interiors.

I also think you have the two (suede/alcantara) mixed up as far as durability. Suede is an animal product and doesn't hold up well at all. Alcantara is a synthetic product and is VERY durable and tough.
I have some Alcantara accents on the interior of mine including door panels, arm rest, knee bolster, and both "A" pillar trim pieces. Here's how it looks:
I think it compliments the black nicely and breaks it up a bit but in a subtle way. I love the feel of that armrest too.
Heres how I did it:

Your interior is GORGEOUS! Going to add that to my list of things to do. Thanks for the write-up
