LOL...you got me on that one. The P51 is my fav plane, but the awesome Blackbird speaks for itself.

Great photo!

I want a pic like that with my car. Where is that at? Open to public? Or on a base?

Problem for me would be that it can't lock. (right?)

Too many dilberts out there that would likely put sheet in my gas tank given the opportunity.

That billet gas cap lid is just for aesthetics and replaces the body panel lid that used to be there. Underneath that lid, you still use the default gas cap cover. In your case, you can use a standard gas cap but with key lock. That's what I had on mine.

I had one on my last Miata - I really like the look - but yep - that look comes with a price! -

On the Miata I was able to use the release in the car to open the billet gas cap - to get to the regular gas cap?

I am a fan of the P51 also. I don't know the policy for allowing civilians in but this was taken at Lackland AFB in San Antonio, TX.

No way to mess it up if you take your time. I took my BSM off a few weeks ago and LOVE IT!!! Car looks so much cleaner.

Thanks and good luck with the side moldings. I was really torn about with/without when I was looking for my first 'Vette.

I was also looking for Red until I saw this Pewter beauty and luckily it had no side moldings.

Post before and after pics!!
