Default Debating on selling...

I'm to a point with my 97 coupe where I can't up and decide whether I should keep it, drop a built iron block in it with a couple turbos, or sell it and move on to something I can drive year round, an Evo.

The car was ~545rwhp @ 6 psi on a p1sc on 91 oct, but since I purchased the car I converted it to e85, not sure what it is laying down right now as I self-tuned. It's a monster, no doubt, if I did end up selling the car, would anybody have any price suggestions?

Specs:

Stock LS1 shortblock, 107k
ported 243 heads, 20k on them
comp dual valve springs
comp blower cam
p1sc, 4" pulley ~6psi
walbro 255hp pump, kb boost a pump
60lb injectors
fmic
turbo-xs blow off valve
jw motorworks deep dish c5 wheels
spec 3+ clutch
spectreworks c5r dual projector headlights, HID bulbs
texas speed 4" maf

The car is silver in color, 107k on it, I'm probably forgetting some mods. The targa top has some scratches, there is a door ding on the passenger's side door, and a small (less than dime size) hole in the hood where the previous owner shut the hood on the catch can.

What would something like this sell for? I was thinking if I could get $15k for it I could part...if not then I might just keep it and build it.

Thoughts?

I was going to suggest starting at $15k. I have a feeling it will take quite a while to sell at that price though. The majority of people will be scared when they see the odometer over 100k, especially boosted. My 04 is getting up there in miles and I love it but even I wouldn't buy one with high miles when I can get one with a third of the miles for only a tiny bit more.

Good luck with the sale though. It sounds like you have pretty much made up your mind at this point.

Over 107K, Door dings, I would say you would be lucky to get anywhere close to 15K.

I would rather have a lower mile Vette in great condition for 15 than one that has over 107K even thought it has the mods.

Now really an Evo

While there may be people out there that don't mind the higher miles, the mods may be the hardest thing to overcome. I personally do not think you will get $15K for the car, but you can always try.

I'm thinking more like $12,500. It is a 14-year old car.

Well, it looks like I will most likely be building it up, unless I find someone that wants to trade me the right evo for it.
