I already have red LEDs throughout my interior, so I'm thinking a red footwell enhancement plus the reflector kit would provide the upgrade I'm looking for without too intrusive of an installation process.
Just let JW know what you are planning as far as the footwell kits go so we can build exactly what you want.

Wow, great job, I like seeing these kinds of modifications, I may order them, I like the light that shines down when the door opens, can be very en-lighting if you know what I mean... Thanks for sharing. Enjoy the ride..

JW,
Please post when the site can take orders for the full package (reflectors, puddle & door handle).
Looks like a great winter project!

Makes for a complete system!
Is panel removal absolutely necessary? Can't one accomplish the mod with some educated 'fishing'?

I'm sure you could, but removing the panel is so easy. IMO it will take less time.

JW, I'm an OLD car fan, and always quaked at the prospect of removing a door panel because of the clips!! I would always lose a few!! (Except for my 1978 Scout2-it had screws!)
If the panel comes off/reattaches easily, then I'll leave the fishing pole in the attic.
