Default LED Door Reflector Mod from JWM

You may have noticed that the stock door reflectors in your C5 Corvette do not light up. We have a solution for that @ JWM

How this works
You pull your reflectors and send them in to us. We mod them with leds and send them back. You must order on the site first and we will send you the address. We do not offer cores anymore.

Kit comes complete with wiring harness to wire into the footwell lights so they come on when the doors are opened or the interior lights come on.

Optional puddle lights
When we mod these we include a wiring harness that allows you to connect our puddle light strip kit. This is a light strip that is mounted underneath the door panels that will light the ground to increase safety at night (or for looks). We do have several colors to choose from in the options.

Optional door handle led kit
These 3 led strips attach under the door handle with super strong adhesive backing. They will come on when the doors are unlocked or when the interior lights come on. When ordered with our led door reflector modification they connect to the extra leads provided. They can also be installed separately but will still require the removal of the door panels to facilitate wiring into the foot well lights. Doing the led door reflector modification makes installing the door handle leds and puddle lights very easy! Colors available are red, blue, white, green and yellow.

Pricing starts at $59.95

You can order yours here

What is involved in terms of wiring the reflector harness (without the puddle lit mod) into the footwell lights? Does the inner door panel need to come off?

Yes. You just route those through the door jamb boot which houses more wires. This will allow a clean installation without visible wires.

It's actually pretty easy.

Everyone...... This is such a great mod and such an easy re-installation.
The puddle lights are a great option to do at the same time.
There is no better vendor when it comes to guaranteed satisfaction AND customer commitment.
Their follow up was as professional as it gets and the product ROCKS!!!

D*mnit Jnothan, I'm still waiting on new headlights, and then you and Tstar pull this crap. I love them and they look great, how do these hook up if I'm already using the led strips from you under the dash? I'm also mechanically challenged, so I'll need those directions too! I'm very interested, so if it's easy, or you talk Chris at Richey to install for me, it's a sale. Let me know, L8R ZFLASH

As JW said, the door panels do need to come off to wire into the foot well lights. If you order the foot well led enhancement kit version 2 on the same order we can add extra leads to hook the door reflector harness into. That way there is no cutting into the factory wiring. Makes for a complete system!

while you are tapping into the footwell lights run two wires through the door and out the hinge hole of the door handle. Get a small LED module to stick behind the door handle.
When you hit the unlock button on your fob the door handles will glow from the LEDs behind them..

You can get the leds from Johnathan is would imagine...

Actually you could connect the door handle leds into the extra leads provided for the puddle lights on the door reflector kit. JW doesnt have the door handle leds but if you ask him we can make up a 3 led strip with wiring to connect them into the door reflector leads. I'll talk to him about that!

Yep, just saying it could all be wired at the same time....

OK.... Plug and play when it comes to electrical is about as involved as I trust myself

I already have red LEDs throughout my interior, so I'm thinking a red footwell enhancement plus the reflector kit would provide the upgrade I'm looking for without too intrusive of an installation process.
