Is it pink or torch red?
A customer claims that we sent him pink covers (instead of torch red). What do you guys think? Are they pink or torch red?

I agree it looks faded. It's definitely not pink, but I can certainly understand why a customer would not be happy with them.

That's definitely not pink. It's not as shiny as the bottom red but it is definitely not pink. I would guess with some leather treatment it would shine up some and might even darken it some.

The real quote is, "In matters of TASTE, the customer is always right." The customer is very frequenty WRONG, or misinformed, or ignorant.
However, if those were my seat covers, I would also be disappointed and want a replacement set. That isn't pink, but that isn't a match.

I will say that it is a bit unusual for Ridies to have posted this here. However, since they did, it would be nice to know how they plan to resolve this issue as every single response to this thread has said that the color match is not acceptable?
Also, for the record the forum doesn't just blindly shield the vendors from criticism. I just recently had an issue with a vendor who would not respond to me. Vetteman Jack got involved, and I got a response from the vendor the next day.
