I inflate using my tire gauges. Not to confuse the issue but I also run 2# under (28 using gauges, cold) down here in the summer (May-October). When the tires heat up it gains 2#.

I just run all 4 tires at factory settings 30 PSI all around.

I suspect your Big O factory, cheap, analog gauge is spec'd at +/-1 minor increment, or in this case +/-1 psi ... meaning it could be off by 2 psi and still be in spec.

I only have 1 guage I use and it is an analog one and it is dead on with the DIC, I do have new TPS I bought from Tire Rack a few months ago. If my guage says 32 the DIC also says 32.

Makes sense........ MAC5, are any of your gages made by Longacre?
No both digital are AccuTire gauges. Measurements Inc. is the manufacturer name. I have no idea who makes the analog gauge.

I have the Accuguage round dial type gold in color with white face. I know it's alot better than those pen type cheapies.

Default Tpms ?

I set the pressure by the digital gauges, 30 psi cold and check pressure about once every two weeks. I let the TPMS do the ALERT work if they run low.
I had County Corvette Inc. Install four new Michelin's Pilot Sports ps/2 ZP's and a new set of TPMS sensors. I set them at 30 PSI and you need to drive a few miles to allow the sensors to talk to the PCM, but I set the tire pressures with a good quality digital air pressure gauge and the sensors seem to be almost the same on the DIC and the digital gauge that I used to set the air pressure with. A hell of a lot better than the old original set, they were worn out and it was a PITA to get the DIC reading and the hand guage to read the same.
