The Grond Chronicles: And Beyond
While not a C5, the original conception for this motor was for Stephen's C5. This was my C5 about a year ago, that EG built. You will have to excuse the quality, first video that I have ever made. Not quite EG standards.
Just a little history. Most of this happened even before I became friends with Stephen, Jason, and the guys at EnglandGreen. Probably the best shop you could ever have work on your car, and some of the most knowledgable, detail oriented, and friendly service to deal with.

Stephen/Jason and I have worked out a deal for the 402 to be installed in my C6 corvette. The last thread got locked after its reserrection due to forum rules, so I thought I would start a new one to keep it going.
In the C6, I made 2 passes with the SI trim, Alky, B&B mufflers and 275/40-17 drag radials. Stock headers, stock mid pipe, and stock cam. It was 1 pass and done without a roll bar.
Since then, EG has installed an RSD 6 point roll bar.
On to the new motor going in soon. I have had Stephen change the cam to a slighter smaller cam with a wider LSA(Fiancee, don't even need to start that conversation ). While not ideal, it was really what I was looking for.
G&G Forged 402, built for 20psi. Eagle Crank, Lunati rods, Diamond Pistons, ARP hardware
Comp Cams XE-R lobes :
232 intake .595 lift @ 0.050
244 exhaust .612 lift @ 0.050
118+2 LSA
Dallas Performance Direct Drive
A&A 8 rib blower setup
V7 YSI Blower-My SI blower will be going on the car for the time being. Hopefully, I can get a YSI on the car by the end of the year.
The end goal for my car will be breaking 190mph at the Texas Mile, and running 9's while still retaining the full street weight, wheels, and interior that a real street car should have. This is, and will never be a stalled automatic car. A true m6, old school 3 pedal car. The limiting factor, will be my pocket book and what my other half will allow me to spend. This is not a shop car, but just a little bit of what EG can do.
Stay tuned! The 402 will be installed and should see track time in a few weeks.

One day I'll get around to finishing Grond - if I could ever find the time! For now, my now rebuilt 402 LS2 has found a new home

Wish I had that motor in my C5. She looks like she runs!

Melting Slicks
I heard you were up to 220, I said you were freakin crazy. Then I found out you were talking about your weight, not HP! Anyway glad to see your still keeping those guys busy, that way I can save some money. I bet your girl hates crawling over those bars, you still haven't come out to see me this summer. Well stay busy so you can continue paying and playing with this baby. L8R from the pretty car in the group, ZFLASH

Looking forward to seeing just how it turns out when you get all the parts installed.

Derrick, the bars are never in the car on the street. You can see the removable side bars with pins.
Jack, Will do! I look forward to the progress of the car.
I forgot one mod that has been sitting around for the last month.
