Default Question of trunk pad on a Z06

I have a pad on the inner side of the trunk lid which during the heat spell, it fell off and needs to be glued in place. . Did Z06's come with this or is it an add on. It has Z06 on the material.

They are aftermarket. Mine does the same thing. I haven't tried Gorilla Glue yet, but nothing else has seemed to hold it in place on hot days.

I've seen a couple posts where guys have drilled 4 small holes in the trunk lid ribs and used hood insulation clips to hold it up.

Evil things!

Warning to all Forum members ...

Never install these idiot things .. they always fall down and leave bad glue residue.

OK, thanks all. The glue residue left is almost impossible to remove so I used epoxy to stick it back on. I'll see if that works

The pads are after market items. I have the 3 piece kind held on with the double sided tape & have had no problems even while living in Houston Tx. One thing I've noticed is the added weight to the trunk lid on my FRC wouldn't allow the lid to pop-up alot so I added the spring thing...

Must agree. I fitted my own and I needed push pins before it held in place.
