Just installed my LG Motorsports short shifter that I purchased from SouthernCarParts.com. Going from stock to this shifter is amazing. Nice solid feel. It also came with a delrin (i chose the tall version) shift ****. Very happy.

Le Mans Master
Attended the 10th Annual Meadowdale International Raceway Car Show. This is an old 3.3 mile race track from 1958-1969 that is now a forest preserve. The original asphalt track is still present, and they host nostalgia shows and such here. I took a lot of other pics, but they aren't Corvettes. The Corvettes had their own special section on this portion of the track.
Used to be a great racetrack back in the good old days! USAC, AMA, and Trans-Am racing took place here. They even used a section of the straight for drag racing!

Took it out to see the awesome team at Blackdog Speedshop today. Just wanted to get an idea of what kind of numbers it's putting out. It has headers / full exhaust and a CAI, so wasn't expecting much. Still good to see some numbers though.

Where did you get those splash guards?
Did the C6 splash guard install. Took me about 30 minutes per wheel and i took the extra step once they were trimmed and mounted to wedge blocks between the tire and splash guard, then used a heat gun to get them to conform a bit better. I like the end result...subtle and looks pretty factory to me! I also had several beers and admired my wax job!

those are nice, what is your rough rwhp, also you have 3.42s and what first gear 2.97,2.66,2.29
I'm thinking 315/35/17 Of those tires we will see. Turbo likes load more than gear so maybe the taller tire like yours with my 2.66.
still look sticky af!

it makes around 850, still 3.42 rear gears and same trans gearing as you... are you positive you got the correct zr1 gearing?... reason I ask is because I bought 3 new sets of them from gm and they were the correct part numbers according to their parts catalog but they were the same tooth count as the c6z gears... I ended up getting the correct info from Bret and Rick at rkt56 and my builder was able to find them... you should know if you get the right ones because they are about 3 times as much as the other gears lol... these will just be for 1/2 mile or the track so I can leave harder in 1st, my 19s do great for highway duty... they are advertised as the same compound as the et street s/s but these feel softer to the touch than my s/s and obviously the sidewalls have more give

Jason did my trans as well, it was a learning experience for the both of us lol... yeah it doesn't come out to quite the exact same ratios as the zr1 but it's close, you will probably like it... the street r sure does seem softer though
