Default Front emblem change

Finally got around to switching out the front emblem. The black emblem goes much better with the look of the car, also got rid of the ugly oval around the emblem.

Installed helper springs on the trunk struts today. Now when I pop the trunk I can get my fingers under it to lift it.

Stormy, rainy Friday night. No plans to go out. So, cracked open a few cold ones and spent some time in the garage applying sealant to my wheels and brake calipers. This process is a must for making it easy to remove brake dust and road grime. The extra shine is worth it, too, assuming your wheels are clearcoated or painted.

Thanks, brother. Slowly bringing her up to your car's level. Hood and wide quarters go on over the coming winter.

And yours were the few sound clips I found that helped me finalize my decision to get the LG "Big 3" exhaust. I am super-picky about exhaust tones. LOL

Oh man nothin drops the jaw like an EB C5Z! I’m flattered but I wouldn’t want to park next to that beaut. I hadn’t been on here a lot came back and saw all this eye candy you’ve been posting! I’m in for more pics. You planning on doing a mod thread all your own?! It’s cool to hear that about the exhaust. Do you have any vids posted on YouTube? I’m curious to hear. I got impatient with waiting to “season” the exhaust so I had a bypass put in. Brought two tips together and connected before the tips. Mine had a little drone before the weld to connect them so they didn’t shift. After that no drone at all. It’s kimda weird with all the ear candy that comes out of the exhaust the cabin noise is minimal.

Long story short, you dun good and I’m anxious to see more

I probably should. I have 2 or 3 random threads out there, so I will probably merge them sooner or later.

Bro, I need a real camera with a real microphone. I took a few cell phone vids, and they came out like junk. I tried in my garage, in my friend's big shop, and outside in the open. My Galaxy S8 just can't seem to record the bass that this exhaust puts out.

I get drone at 1500rpm or so. I just don't use 6th gear unless I am doing 60mph or better and it is good to go. I have a thicker tunnel plate and a carpeted MDF cabin divider that seems to have have helped, too. The 1 7/8" headers and 3" x-pipe combined with the LG cat-back really puts out the volume, but my x-pipe is modified with a pair of Vibrant resonators, so it is quieter than you would think. But, the resonators did increase the bass. To best describe the tone, I would say that at startup and idle, it sounds like a big-block Chevy thumping through old-school 3-chamber Flowmasters. Under acceleration, it sounds like Borla Stingers with more bass. Hope that makes sense. LOL

Thanks, man! I will put together a merged thread and post all the future updates in it. Next mods are upgraded seats, finally install my Sparco wheel, and then coilovers. I have a carbon fiber front lip for her, but won't put it on until I get some side skirts that appeal to me. Then the wide quarters and bigger wheels go on. Probably won't get to the engine build until 2019.

Hot Dog! You’re goin to town buddy! Your explaination of the exhaust made perrrfect sense to me! You’re basically saying you’ve got “permagrin” . That’s an awesome problem to have! I know you are particular and have an eye for aesthetics which makes it easy to be more active so I can enjoy the show! Congrats again and I just can’t imagine an already gorgeous EBZ even better in the months to come.

Thanks, brother! I am going to try like hell to modify her without going overboard, and while still keeping her as clean and tasteful as I can.

Installed a fire extinguisher in preparation for running the SORC in three weeks. I used the Bracketeer along with the mount that came with the extinguisher. Went in real easy, 30 minutes start to finish. Could probably do it in half the time now. Looks good and doesn’t interfere with the passenger at all.

Love it! Any particular spring? How long was the spring you used?

Had my paint corrected as well, it was starting to looking kind of tired. Had it ceramic coated. Brit dex's car gave me some ideas to think about, it is a beautiful car.
