Default I'm still here

Even though I am only here in spirit, I'm here to continue to support the Corvette community and especially the C5 family.

I have found a similar emptiness. So let me show you what Ive been up to. Ive been very busy over the last few days and am now willing to share. Blacked out the grill, added carbon flash splitter and side skirts

The C5 is part of your DNA Bill. Even though you’ll be styling around in a new C8, a C5 will always get your attention.
I hope you’ll always consider the C5 forum home.

Very nice comments, Thank you. The C8 is realistically a year away for me.. with 3000 pre orders and most being sold for thousands above MSRP, and with some dealers already having their allocations for 2020 sold, I' going to bridge that gap. If I survive the time frame, Ill get the C8 when I consider it a comfortable deal.
Bill
I am very comfortable with my C5 in the hands of someone who will take as good of care or even better then I have.

If you don't mind me asking, what are you going to be driving in the interim?

Im asking because after having one Corvette or another off and on for the last 15 years, I thought I would be ok with a substitute. Unfortunately, I'm finding that I'm not.

Great to hear from you Bill !! Again, thank you for your parts in developing the C5. I'm going on 12 years owning my '02 Pewter, 6 spd, coupe and still loving it. It's still my favorite modern body style and fits my 6'5" frame perfectly. I still haven't warmed up to any of the models after. Here is wishing you many years yet of participation and support of this forum group and your input for our education. Thanks again, take care. GL

The above was was supposed to be an embedded GIF of a wolf with its tongue rolling out. Great idea....poor execution. I wish I weren't so damn computer illiterate.

Gorgeous car by the way.
