Default New wheels/tires- lowering question

Wanted to show off my new wheels/tires & brakes. Plus I had a question about lowering. With my old wheels/tires, the wheel well gap looked good, but with the new setup it looks like I'm 4 wheeling. Looking at the pictures, how much lower can I go before the suspension travel makes the tires hit the fenders? I thought the car had been previously lowered, but now I doubt it.

You need to give us more information. Sizes of wheels/tires specifically.

Lowered on what? Stock bolts? Cut stock bolts? Aftermarket bolts? Coil overs. If you're running stock length shocks, you're into the bumpstops before the tires hit the body IMO.

Why would you buy new wheels, and put a 325 on a 10.5? Just because it's squeezed on that skinny wheel, doesn't mean it makes a full contact patch! Want big rubber that can work? Put em on proper width/offset wheels. I don't get it...but it's your car.

Style wise they look nice, but...

Because the fit. The wheels barely fit as it is so o can not run a wider wheel.

Wheels & tires look awesome in my opinion.... I think the rear tires fit the wheels perfect.... Nittos tend to run narrow anyway....

I would lower it about 1" all around and call it good. Make sure to get an alignment right after you lower it....

Yes C6 Z06 brakes all the way around. I am not sure on the offsets, I will look at the box Monday when I get to work. And yes on stock bolts.

Technically they don’t according to Nitto’s specs
11.0-(11.5)-12.0
which I wholeheartedly would agree with JETZ that your rear contact patch is decreased pinching that wide of a tire on a skinny wheel.

Nonetheless nice choice of wheels and good looking car!

They work, and I'm happy with the way they look.

I'm thinking next year I will powder coat the wheels/ center caps black, til then tho...

The tire isnt as wide as my last set of 325/30's and when I mounted it on the rim, I did not have to compress the side wall that much to get it to seat. When looking at the contact patch area of the tire, it visually appears to be clost the the width of the rim, maybe 1/2 over all wider (1/4in either side) The Nitto's run narrower than most other tires.

My 305 Nitto DR’s are even a little pinched on a 10.5’’ wheel and the sidewall is even a little bubbled. I can only imagine a Nitto 325. Either way as long as your happy that’s all that matters.

I'm also running the Nitto Invos @ 325-30/19, but my rear wheels are 11" wide, which, BTW, fit fine. As far as your lowering question, the lowest you can go on the stock bolts will not create any problems, other than a slightly rougher ride. It probably can go a bit more, but it looks OK to me as is.

They are TSW Nurburgring wheels.
