Default Possible to replace just the housing for the key fob?

The buttons have little to no silkscreen left on them, and the casing is missing a chunk on one side on my main key fob. How much would it cost for just a new housing / buttons, and how difficult would it be to swap the innards of the fob to a new setup?

Since you didn't state the year in your question, I'll assume the car is the 2001 listed in your profile. You can buy the entire fob on ebay for around $10-$20 and program it to your car. That would be cheaper than trying to find the parts and replace them, if even possible to find. Search keyless remote on ebay and look for 2001-04.

I've never used these, but if you decide to try the buttons and case, here's a set for $7.26 and free shipping.

I agree with 65GGvert. Just find a fob on the auction site.

You can buy just the rubber peice and outside plastic off ebay. Everything is just sandwiched together. Just pop the fob open. Place the new rubber buttons over your board and enclose it in the new case. No programming needed. I plan on doing this once my buttons start to wear off.
