Default Stance Coilovers...quick review

After looking at several options to upgrading my suspension for better handling plus ride quality, (I had c6zo6/c5z06 shocks and sway bars) I was talked into coil-overs, (thanks allot Dennis). Due to new engine and trying to work on the electrical gremlins i haven't had much seat time.

First of all the customer service from STANCE is outstanding. Any questions I had was friendly and promptly answered with no rush feel. I Spoke to Scott many times.

It took me several hours to install fronts however after doing it once I'm sure that can be cut down and probably 1.5 hrs to install rears by the time you jack up both sides and take tires off and then re-adjust ride height preferred.

Construction/ material; not that I have had coil-overs before to compare but from sight and feel these are made with very nice parts, nothing feels cheaply made. After talking to others with some experience they seem to think that they use just as nice parts if not some being better than familiar competition?

WOW...the ride is completely different, easiest way to explain it is that your not riding on a wagon anymore. The bumps are not jarring, they are now smooth and solid feel. The handling is quick to respond with little body roll, (keep in mind I haven't had much time to test all out handling). Going over dips does make the car seem to bounce a little more but its not a bad bounce, the shocks seem to be working better..hard to explain.

Who carries them and price can be found through, "DENNIS @ DOUBLE D MODS" as most know he is great to work with. Thanks Dennis for helping me spend more money on this endless PIT, lol!

I'm waiting for the replies that Coilovers are a waste of money on a street car...

Congrats on your install. I agree... It improves every aspect of how the car drives, and handles. It certainly "smooths" out all the flaws in the car's ride for sure.

They are not made in the US. Actually, I am 99.999% sure that the Stance coilovers are made by HSD. HSD coilovers are made in Korea. If you need to get the coilovers rebuilt, Stance will rebuild them here in IL. They are still Korean.
