So here's the sequence as much as I'm sort of embarrassed. I had some open road from a stop, got on first, second, missed third so I just went to fifth and on I went. Only right as I went into fifth my power steering acted like it went out and the car seemed to want to pull left a tad bit. I didn't hit anything and this happened all right after my shifting mishap. The car is an '01 Z06, I pulled over and shut it off to take a quick look, nothing obvious so I restarted it and all seemed well. Any similar instances happen to anyone? Thanks.

are you sure your active handling did not kick in due to the acceleration and wheel spin you were probably having?

Why don't you put a container of Lucas power steering conditioner in it and hope for the best.
