The Corvettes of the 2012 Detroit Autorama

Corvette's from across the country gathered in COBOL hall for the annual Auto-rama in Detroit last week. There are pics-a-plenty in the link above, so hit it for some extra eye candy.

I think the promoters of this show should switch to a milder time of year...Feb. in Michigan is a bad time for such an event....just my 2 cents.

Read CF email on Autorama and thought I would check it out to see if my car was pictured. Saw that it was, so I did a search on "1964 Corvette name Lydia" to see if anything turned up.

See CF's Vette Blogger's link only got you to his first blog on show. Seems he blogged and posted more pictures of at least 2 of Vettes pictured in this threads montage. The 1962 owned by last years Riddler winner Bruce Ricks, and my 64 named Lydia.

Link to Bruce Rick's 62.

I'm not sure if the mention of WOOD in interior was what it gave him or if he missed spelled WOOL as listed under interior on sign.

The lighting caused both the exterior and interior colors to wash out. Even outside the exterior color is all over the place as you can see if you click on B-Rod or custom Smugbug Link.

As a side note, Bruce Ricks can be seen in first two pictures in 64 gallery. He has a grey shirt on and is talking with Larry Burchette(arms crossed) builder of my car. Nice guy. We first met him at Starbird-Devlin show in Witichta KN in January where he had his 1956 Ford Sunliner Riddler Winner. Expect to run into him at one or more GoodGuy events this year with his 56 and 62.
