Red is nice but I decided to go another route and painted the calipers and hats black and the brackets silver. I think it works with my car and wheel combination. Pics taken prior to paint burn off.

dang almost everyone has red now I what to re-paint mine another color. The one thing I have thought about was to have them nickel plated and do the letters red. But the down side to that is I would have to polish them first to be smooth. The reason is nickel plateing only enhances the surface so the pitting would look sucky.

I'm totally digging the red calipers with red mounts. My calipers are already red, so now having paid so little attention to the mounts I may have to paint them red to match. The silver mounts with black calipers and silver lettering were slick too, but the black mounts w/red calipers just weren't cutting it for me.

I think I am convinced to paint the brackets and the calipers the same color (red). It certainly does make the brake system look bigger without the cheesy look of bolt on peripherals.

Does anyone else have pictures of the Caliper and the Bracket painted the same color ?
