Default Looking for backup light wiring

I'm looking for the wiring and connector that goes into the backup light switch on a 1991 6 speed. Can I just buy the contector with the wires or do I have to buy the hole harness. All the wiring from the lights are intact to the main fuse block and looks like out of the block.

The past owner wasn't the brightess bulb in the pack.

Thanks Tim

not certain that i understand what exactly you are asking, but even if there is a problem with the lights, i find it pretty inconceivable that someone would just arbitrarily remove the entire harness. that said, you can trace it from the rear forward and and you should be able to find it with at least one termination point at the transmission. if in fact the entire harness is gone, obviously you would need to re-wire. if you can find it and trace it and find it has been cut, perhaps you can find where it was cut and the 2 pieces to re-join. if it is something simple like a bad connector, you can probably get the exact replacement at a place like napa, i'm going to take a guess here however that perhaps the harness is off the switch at the transmission, or perhaps the switch itself has gone south. i would take the easy route first and check on those two possible problems first. BTW you would probably get more responses if you posted this in the C4 section since that is what you won (if you didn't typo as a 91).
