Does anyone have any mod red panels (knee bolster and glove box) that they'd be willing to sell? I'm also looking for other red (or two tone torch red/black) parts like seats, boots (shifter and ebrake), shifter handle, ebrake handle, and steering wheel. Please PM me if you have anything you'd be willing to sell. Thanks!

I'm a big fan of the MOD RED option on the Z06's. It was a rare option for sure. If you can find a good example of one I would jump on it.

Just don't add too much more red in there....

The MOD RED option is just a little red to add some class inside to an otherwise bland black interior.

I just bought my first vette 2000 c5 that I love, it's red and I'm slowly adding red interior mods. I bought a steering wheel wrap, who is everybody using to have them put on? I'll even ship the wheel if there isn't anybody local in Texas to do it

Definitely love red interior! That's what I have in my c7. Also had red/black seats in my c6. Would love to do it in my c5, too.

I saw this old thread pop up and had forgotten about my post. Happy to say, I found a complete mod red interior for my car and it has transformed the interior for me.

A few years ago I saw a Mag Red II C5 vert with a custom Vette Essentials interior. He swapped out the OEM black seats/trim for Vette Essentials black (real) leather seats with dark red (Mag Red II match) stitching. It looked awesome as it was very subtle yet had a strong impact because the center console, shift boot, e-brake boot, etc. all had the matching stitching.

Default not an issue

Buy the Z. If you don't like it CF members (with all blk) will break down your door to switch out for the mod.

Had it in my 03Z with a few accents. But too many extra accents will kill the interior (in a bad way).

Sorry, I drive my car but the mats aren't worn out. Pics are from a year and a half ago when I was installing the parts. Not sure what I had on my feet, but it vacuumed out just fine.

A vendor really needs to look into making reproduction mod red parts. Seems like there is a large demand.

I love my red interior and while some don't like it a lot of people do and if you decide you don't like it down the road you can always trade it for black or ad black accents to it

It's your Vette so the only opinion that counts is yours and yours alone.

Even though I don't prefer it, I still believe it can look very good when used sparingly and tastefully. See: Toque

I agree with Toque. You can have too much red. I have a mod red z06. the previous owner went overboard with the red. It becomes overpowering. I put some of the items back to stock black and I think it looks better.

Just because you can do a mod doesn't mean you should. Never cross the line of good taste.
