Adam Boca covered my Z06. $282/yr full coverage with agreed value. I get 6000 miles and keep it garaged. No problem since it's definitely not my daily. I put about 4300 miles on it last year.

I'm 34, always drive sports cars (Z06, F355, Testarossa, Diablo for a bit, etc),, and tend to get cited here and there. In my area, cops love to pull over vettes, bmw's, exotics, etc...they make 10-12 dollars/hr, so figure since they don't have it, why not write you a citation for owning it. The fine doesn't phase me, but the points are the bitch of the deal.

Adam's a nice guy and all, but he's not licensed in Virginia. OK, no big deal.

When we were put on to another underwriter, we were told that they would only insure ONE of my three cars. Two of my cars are collector cars, but we can only insure one car? That's not going to work.

Then I get the info that even if I do insure ONE car, I can only put 1000 miles on it. WTF?! It's a car, I want to drive it more than 1000 miles a year.
Sorry to hear! VA is still in our old program, while most of the other states are in the new Collector Vehicle Program. From what I understand the VA Department of Insurance is a joy to work with!

Once the new program rolls out I will be licensed there and there will be much more flexibility and options.

Thanks for the opportunity!!

It's no big deal, thanks anyway.

Allstate have insured the C5 for $203 for six months, unlimited milage. That'll work for us.

Cheers anyway.

Please tell me who you have the "agreed upon value" insurance with... Just making sure, you didn't mean stated amount policy did you..? I'm looking for a company to insure my 67 mustang for a true agreed upon value which in my search so far almost seems non-existent....

Btw for my vette, I pay $75 a month, full coverage, 250 deductible and I'm 24

I'm 25, with a completely clean driving record. When I sold my 01 Camaro SS and bought my 03 Z06 my insurance went down $9 a month. I have full coverage, $500 delectable, 7500 miles a year.

I don't know exactly what I pay, but for my nissan, my vette, and renters insurance it's 119 a month.

I had been with the same company for about 20 years. But when I called to add my used 99 they said they did not insure Corvettes. So I changed companies to The Hartford and my Vette ended up costing me less that my 96 Talon Tsi AWD which I sold before I bought the Vette. My Vette is a daily driver, 55k since 08.

Just used the online quoting system. I hope I did everything right. Because if I did ... it' looks like I could save 40% over what I'm paying now. I hadn't requoted for the past couple of years because I thought I had a good rate.... I think the insurance company pulled a fast one and changed me from unlimitted to mileage rated policy. If I'm going with mileage rated policy NCM prices seem to be much better. Just saying if you guys haven't requoted AND you don't mine tracking / planning your mileage out, NCM might make a difference.
