My liner looks like crap. It looks like a PO dropped the hood on a tool or something as there is a little tear in it. But I'm hesitant to remove it. I'm sure it's fine but if one out of 10K developed a problem because if it, it would be mine. But what would look cool is if you had your car show info painted on a nice liner, or even painted onto the hood without a liner.

Just made the appointment at a local shop to paint an clear the underside of my hood yellow to match my car. I could have used a rattle can and some off the shelf clear coat, but I wanted it to be done *right* so the shop is going to remove the hood light, fill in all the holes with fiberglass filler, paint and clear it for a few hundred bucks. Can't wait to see it, will be done by the end of the month. I'll share pictures when I get her back home!
