I am not selling my c5. Its way to much fun and its paid for. Besides, it will be my sons when he is responsible enough to handle it. I am working a deal on this one. What do you guys think? http://new.maxieprice.com/detail/new...-a1055701.html
Gave the new Z heavy consideration. The wife, and myself for that matter want a automatic this time. Part of the Neg is a wheel change. We will see what happens.
I popped for a Challenger R/T to go with the Vette
I was going to go with a Challenger R/T, but I couldn't get any dealer to come more than $500 off of the sticker price because I was paying 90% in cash up front and qualified for the 0% financing. I told them all to shove it and bought my Vette.
Enlighting magazine article about the New Corvette/s
I was reading a magazine on the train the other day (Road& Track Volume:63 Number #8 April 2012 issue) and it was a very well written article, but They road-tested all four of the current Corvette models, 1. Base convertible, 2. Grand sport, 3. the ZO6 and finally 4. the LS9 ZR1. And I never knew that the Base and the Grand Sport are smaller in size than the ZO6 & the ZR1.
Needless to say the ZO6 and the ZR1 have much better performance, but between the Grand Sport and the ZO6 they both are damn near the same track tested wise. They even said that the lowly Base model was a "Buy" and delivered great performance for relatively cheap price. Now granted the Base to the ZR1 is much like a Piper cub vs. a F18 fighter. Good impartial and balanced criteria in a read.
