Default Turn signal will not indicate on dash.

My right hand turn signal works outside the car the lights work but inside the car the indicator does not light up on the dash or the heads up display. Left hand signals all work as they are supposed to. Checked the bulb in on the dash and it is good. Any ideas where to start trouble shooting this issue.

Try hitting your hazard flasher a few times while the signal is on, and if that works its your hazard switch. also when you push the hazard do both bulbs come on. GINO

Have you done any work in your cluster area or removed the cluster? If so just try to wiggle the cluster connectors and it should work. It happened to me when i was doing the cluster billet rings.

The OP stated that the directional is actually working but the dash indicator is not. I would think that if the hazard switch were going bad the directional would not work, but stranger things have happened in my C5 as well.

I have the same issue, all lights working properly but the right turn signal indicator. I have pulled the cluster and checked the bulb and all connections, which are all good. I am wondering if you have finally got yours to work, and what you found was wrong?

It happened to me again last night. I just smacked the right top of the dash and it started working again. D#@%^ Electrical Gremlins.

It isn't a connection problem on my car, as I actually pulled the cluster and checked all connections and the bulb. I think whatever is wrong isn't in the cluster.

I will, but was hoping someone already found out what could be causing the issue since it seems its not uncommon.

I know you checked all the connections but try what I did next time it occurs. Slap the right top of the dash. Hey I worked for me. It seems to come and go with my car. It will be fine for a few weeks then one or the other of the dash turn signals goes out or sometimes both. It also doesn't display in the HUD when it acts up.

When it first started acting up, I could slap the dash and it would start working again for a short time. Now nothing gets it working again. It also doesn't help by hitting the hazard switch. The indicator doesn't work in the HUD as well.

Yeah bumping an old thread, but better than starting a new one...

I'm surprised to see others have the same issue and with right signal. Noticed mine not working wednesday after an alignment. I'm sure it's not their fault, but it worked this morning and after a few minutes it stopped work. Same thing, all exterior works, but not interior or HUD. Curious if anyone has found the actual problem for this by now?
