iPhone OS6 Nav thru radio auxilliary
Guys,
I upgraded my iPhone 4s to the new OS6 software today, with it. you now get spoken turn by turn directions on your iPhone 4Ss up.
I've got an iSimple iPod interface in my 2000 vert that I got from Dennis at DD Mods, the great thing is if you have this, the iPhone will speak the directions thru the radio speakers if your playing the ipod in the auxilliary mode. It wont work on radio, youve got to be in auxilliary
Good luck......

I've been doing this with my android phone for years....
Seriously though, good tip.
And for those of you who don't have iOS6, there is an app called "Waze" which gives pretty good turn-by-turn directions on iPhone.

Yep. Been doing this with my Android for years. I have an Aux2Car I got from Denis hardwired to a Parrot MKi9000. I run all my Android audio and phone calls through my stock head unit. Navigation is fantastic. Google maps is better than ANY other navigation I've used.
