added ccfl halo rings
I've had these halo rings sitting around for a while and wanted to see how they would look if I put them on my fog lights. The jury is still out for me on whether I like them or not. Feel free to share your positive or negative thoughts. I'm sure some will say it's "rice"

Different..., but cool you can run them without the foglights on. I'll give it an OK...

They are 80mm halo rings that I got on eBay for 25$ or so. They are a bit bigger than OEM fogs so I wrapped 3 layers of 2 sided take around the fog lights and stuck them on. It holds pretty well. Each side is then grounded using one of those bolts in the frame right there where the fog lights are and I ran a wire for power up to the fuse block and tapped into the ac fuse so they are always on. If I decide to keep them, I'll get rid of my corner light led strips (i think it's too much to have both) and power them from the parking lights.

[QUOTE=mre1974;1581933896]I think that they look good. Your plan for if you keep them sounds like a good idea...the rings and the led strips might be a bit much. Any pics of them both illuminated?[/QUOTE
It's too busy with both... Even for me. I just need someone who wants to trade me plain clear black corners for clear black corners with a switchback led strip.

I hope you got the ones that are encased in plastic. The CCFL glass is VERY fragile. If yours didn't come with plastic, you can use plastic hose from Ace hardware in it's place.
