Hey George, I've been away from the forums for awhile. These ACA bi-xenon lights you offer... I'm considering replacing my "now legendary" light cannons with 'em if it means they will allow me instant-on high beams. Is that the case? And if so, what is the other light used for in the housing? Sorry for the lame questions, but like I said, this is all new to me. Cheers.

Yes the Bi-xenon not only gives you instant HID high beams, but also a much wider light spread with them as well as the low beam.

The inner light remains a 55w halogen and is more for signaling other drivers than light output since it will be drowned out by the HID high beam.

Okay, just two more quick questions for you... Assuming the high beams are triggered by the stalk switch, how are the inner halogens even activated? And, do you have a bi-xenon option for my Light Cannons so I don't have to discard them all together? I still really like them and the angel eye halos, etc.

both the bi-xenon mechanism and the halogen high beams are triggered by the factory high beam connection. included is a mini harness that installs in between the factory high beam connector and the halogen bulb for plug-and-play operation.

I do have a bi-xenon setup available for the Light Cannons, but it's a $450 option (the Hella bi-xenon projectors are VERY expensive)

Just placed an order for the LED Backup Bulbs for my Adjure unit. Tried some of the old LED "towers" a few years ago and went back to stock as they put out more light. These look like they are worth a try!

With tinted rear window, need all I can get!

I may wind up throwing another $450 your way, in that case. I really like the Hellas. But I'm waiting to see if I'm losing my main source of income before I pull the trigger in the next week or two.
