I recently ditched my iPhone for an android device and have a delimma. In my vette I have an iPod/iPhone specific adapter that plugs into the back of the head unit. I was going to remove it and was wondering if they made something similar but with a2dp (Bluetooth audio streaming) for our head units.
I really don't want to upgrade my head unit so I'm hoping something like this exists
What a coincidence, I was looking at a Parrott MKi9200 today online, wondering if Dennis had any experience with them. Bluetooth streaming music as well as hands free phone.
but wont work with the stock radio.
I tried this once with the HFKGM1 Pac Audio says will work and it will not.
By the time you buy everything to attempt this its going to be much easier and better to just get an aftermarket single din with BT HD Radio, Ipod controls and be done with it.
I have many options for this and we can prewire them for a super simple install as well.

I have a 98 C5. And all I want to do is stream music vi Bluetooth from my iphone 4s. When I use the UX10 with my old ipod the music was clear but it wasn't loud enough. If I go BT will the music be the same volume as if I had inserted a disk? And is this possible?

In re-reading this it doesn't sound clear.
About 3 years ago I bought some weird adapter that plugged into my cd changer. It worked. The music played from my IPOD. But with the IPOD volume all the way up and the car system all the way up the volume wasn't very loud. Not anywhere near as loud as if I had inserted a cd.
Using my I PHONE. (4S) Can I use a Bluetooth thing and make my phone play music through my stock deck via blue tooth? If this is possible will I suffer the same loss of volume as I did when I was using the plug on my IPOD?
