I have a feeling the gas mileage may exclude me from joining any environmental organizations. 8 pulls on the dyno = 10 gallons of fuel.
I will post post highway and city mpg once the snow melts up here.
The way I look at it..with the way the economy's going the way it's going, only thing I will leave behind is a carbon foot print..I want to make sure it's a BIG one.
FWIW: I get about 15MPG driving it anyway I want. I can see single digits if I've been "playing" and up to about 22-23 on the highway at posted speed...but what fun is that?
Nice !!!!!!!
Will you have to use HP tuner each time you change fuel and tune ?
We tuned with EFI Live and I use a hand held device called an AutoCal from EFI Live that allows multiple tunes. Stores in the glove box and when I need a different tune, plug in and 60 seconds later away you go. Also can be used to log data and for remote tuning.

Hey Kevin, I'm with you. I like carbon...just not in my motor!
My old Katech 427cid with the GM Stage 3 cam made 7 mpg city and 18mpg hwy. I figure the harder on fuel the higher the fun factor
That being the case, it's a good thing were not living in Europe at $10.00 per gallon.
Not yet. Pulled out the fuel tank and shipped to Lonnie's Performance yesterday. He will be installing a twin pump Walbro setup. Two weeks for delivery.
nice!
it should be interesting what the outcome will be with enough fuel.
I am curious where we will end up. The motor is capable of spinning at 7K rpm and from the few dyno pulls we did, it definitely prefers fuel over lean. My tuner is guessing another 5 to 7rwhp (safely).

yes, it is a healthy motor.
5-7rwhp? hmm...i am thinking that motor is capable of low 700fwhp. well, i hope you get there!
