Default Just sharing my C5 2003

just sharing a few pics of my before and after.

looking to lower the car but not sure if im going to do it since i drive the car every day.

I picked the car up back in April, installed k&n intake, b&b bullets quad tips, and diablo tune. I love the sound of the bullets! Added the wheels and just did the wrap on the halo.

Nice clean Vette. As for lowering on a DD i would tend to say do not.My sunny day only C5Z is lowered and looks good this way but i have to always be alert to any situation where it will scrap.I think this would be a pain on a DD.

Looks great, question why is it owners feel the need to replace the stock wheels? Am I the only one that loves the stock wheels? Your new wheels are nice but look like a real chore to clean...not like the stock ones! Welcome aboard the Corvette bus. Greetings, Rob

My car is a lowered DD. Do it, you get used to it. Being careful will become second nature, it isn't that much different than when it's stock.

Car looks awesome! What brand/type of wrap did you use for your halo? Did you wrap it yourself? Our's is torch red also, so I really like the look.

You're not the only one. I don't think I'll ever replace mine. ..My Camaro on the other hand, I had to get rid of those small narrow 16" rims, yuk..

Lowered all the way on stock bolts DD here too. I added the rub rails with built in jacking pucks just in case I get a steep drive entrance, but only touched it once in 6+ years.

Thanks for all the replies, the wrap is 3m gloss black vinyl. Bought on amazon and had my tint guy do it for me. He only had matte and carbon fiber rolls so I had to provide my own.

I love the wheels, I wanted something different then stocks. Just personal preference.
