What color/finish of wheels for a white car?

Melting Slicks
ABSOLUTELY! My wife's Lexus IS is white with gloss gunmetal and I have to admit it is pretty hot for a little white lexus coupe. The gloss gunmetal toughens up the white which can often be a little "soft" looking

I definitely prefer Chrome over Silver or Black on my White C5. It really sets the car off. Black is too much contrast for me and flat Silver washes out with the White.

I like the metal of the wheels to add to the appearance of the car. The gunmetal adds some darker color but still retains the visual shape to the wheels. The silver painted ones look like a paint trying to match the metal color so it is lame. Chrome is too bright and is prone to peeling off. Black hides the detail of the wheel and makes it disappear. Unless you are really close, they just look like dirty ones or missing hubcaps
So I like in order.
Polished
Machined
Gunmetal
Silver
Chrome
Black last
Each to their own. Good luck with your choice.

I ran CCW Big Street Classics on my car for a few years. I really liked the look of the black centers and white barrels plus they are super light and strong. 18x10 and 18x11.5 I'm not a fan of all black wheels.
I can't get used to the look of wheels where the spokes run all the way to the perimeter of the wheel.
When I did the L5's it was time to change the look. I've always loved the classic look of the CCW SP500's and run 18x10.5 and 19x12.

Chrome, high polished or comp gray wheels would be my choice.

They are 18's on all four corners, I was planning on keeping the tires since they have maybe 2500 miles on them. I can do this whenever, but I have a feeling neither one of us is in a hurry to get our cars out!

White is so versatile - it may be less the color, but the style of wheel? I went with CCW chrome 505As. I could not be happier, but there are so many other options out there. With white, you really can not go wrong with almost any choice - the most versatile color IMO. If I wanted to go super aggressive, I would go BLACK, otherwise CHROME
