Nope. It's just a car that should be driven hard and a lot.

I think it will be, A base C5 No but a C5Z will be... Just like the C4 ZR1, the CZ06 will be as well as the C6Z06 and the ZR1... The base coupes no...

Less so than the 90's ZR-1's and they aren't very collectable yet.

Will people really want a 20-40yr old car with 100k+ miles on it? No garage queen here!

I love C5Zs but I doubt it. I think they'll be coveted for the cheap speed aspect (as they've been for the past 5 years), but I don't think they'll ever hit 'collectable' status.

Exactly. Think about how much more exclusive those ZR1's were and they're not bringing big $ these days. I would imagine a c5z will be more collectible than a base model but not that much. Drive them now and enjoy them.

No they most likely won't - simply too many were made to be considered a collectable.

you cant just go by how many they made.
they made well over 20,000 c2 big blocks .
look at those now.
also look at how well c5z's are holding their value.
when people say 'they made too many of them ' they are just repeating what they heard another member say .

I am not just "repeating what other members say". IF someday they do magically become "collectable", it won't be for many many years, and the value won't bring anywhere near what a run of the mill CD would bring. Buy them to drive them.
