My Corvette... that I bought 2 weeks ago now.
So I bought the car 2 weeks ago now but have been lazy about putting photos up. Here are a few. The car is a 2000 FRC with 47,000 miles on it. Drove down to Atlanta to get the thing from Raleigh, NC. I can't tell you how good it feels to be back into a sports car coming from a 3/4 ton truck. It's got some gear whine but I pulled the fluid and it's clean, no metal chunks, and no glitter. This is my first Corvette but not the first one in my family. My dad had a black on black 1969 C3 with a 350ci engine and 4-speed. But what do you know, but he sold it to buy a house back in 1984. What an *******, right? Anyways, more pictures will come at a later date as new and exciting things are added. Thanks for looking.

Haha, yea. I am very thankful I have a garage, even if it is pretty damn cluttered right now. I'll be looking to clean it come May after school ends for the semester.

The only difference between C5 brakes and C5 Z06 brakes is the red color.... there is no conversion other than the red paint.. the FRC in the op's photo post is just standard brakes painted red cost to upgrade=can of paint 5 dollars
The "BIG" dramatic change is in the C6 Z06 brakes on a C5 . cost is 2,000.00 dollars

I'll pass. You have to increase the rim size too, right?

Great looking car you bought - hope you get lots of enjoyment from it. And hope that the gear whine is nothing serious.

Even if it is, I've budgeted for mods. It's mainly just annoying as hell right now. But either 3.90s or 4.10s will be going in when I decide to have it pulled and rebuilt.

Hopefully a 390 rear end will be going in my 2000 vert in late April.

I've never had anything but stock gears before so I'm really looking forward to the bump the butt meter gets from gears.
