Default February cruise thru Valley of Fire

It was in the low 60's to day, so we went on a cruise! I'm originally from Chicago so this was nice. Actually, a bunch of us were either from the east coast or Midwest originally.

That is some beautiful scenery out there. I am jealous as I too am looking at the awful white stuff on the ground. I plan on cruising out to see my son in Chandler, AZ this summer. I hope to cruise the famous Route 66 most of the way. Thanks for the pics and making us in the midwest and east jealous.

Jealous doesn't even begin to describe how I'm feeling right now! I love the Mesquite area. Locked in winter right now and won't even take the car for a drive around the neighborhood due to all the grit on the road
s. Glad you had a chance to get out!

It sure was. The roads in Valley of Fire were used in many car commercials. Park Ranger strictly enforce speed limit of 35 and they know where to hide.:-)

The latest episode of Top Gear, shown here in England yesterday, started in the Valley of Fire. On then to the Speedway, The Strip, Bakersfield, Willow Springs track and LA.

I wont spoil it but it was a brilliant episode.

The comparison was an Aston Martin, a Lexus and a Viper.

Happy days
