Yokohama Advan Neova AD08's...EPIC tires ;-)
for those wanting to see side by side sized differances...this oic has my AD08 265/35/18 on the left, and the Micheline 245/40/18's on the right:
And in this one...left is 305/30/19 and goodyear 285/35/19 on the right:
yes....I abused the goodyears down to the threads the last day before I switched tires today lol .....those were REALLY horrible tires.
The AD08's are even better than I hoped....the previous generation AD07 was known as the "fastest street tire in the world"...and the AD08 is signifigantly faster than the AD07. So I was expecting a good performer....but was really happy with how much of a comfort improvement over the runflats there is....they feel both smoother and much less jarring over bumps...while still feeling very planted and sollid with great road feel.
I only drove them for one day so far....but could not find the limit in moderately aggressive driving.....I knew exactly where the limit was on those horrible Goodyear runflats....but so far have no found a limit on these...accelerating out of curves is much more intuitive, and I can get into the pedal just after passing the apex, where as with the runflats i had to be almost all the way out of the curve before hitting the happy lever unless I wanted a power oversteer.
So far, these tires are sublimely epic....shockingly comfortable while raising the performance, fun, and confidence factor by an imeasurable amount.
I was having so much fun driving that it got dark before I could snap some pics of them on the car...will post those tomorrow ;-)
went with 305/30/19 rears and 265/35/18

They have a really different tread pattern to them. Thanks for the review - sounds like you made a really good choice.

Drove about 100 highway miles yoday, and are very quiet compared to the run flats...really quiet compared to any tire actually.
hit a 30 mile canyon run to really gove thrm a thorough go, and was spectacular...I pushed them as hard as my nerve allowed and never heard a hint of a squeel, and took many 25 mph low hard switching back and fourth curves at 50 mph.
They were so good that I don't even know if I really need the coilovers that I ordered lol
though the answer there is really yes, because its fairly clear that the chasis will give up the grip before these tires lol
here are some pics:

the fronts sit in the wheel well about 1/4 inch in and look good, though the car needs lowered about an inch and a quarter, which will happen next week when Coilovers arrive.
the rear C6 five spokes don't have the right offset to push even these 305's out to the edge of the wheel well, they sit about an inch inward...I ordered some lightweight Pfadt 10 mil spacers to cure that though.
will look really good with a rear spacer and the car lowered to better ride height on Coilovers... its really all about the performance with these though...

i loved that tire. what will shock you is how well they wear for a 180utqg
rain performance and road manners are excellent. i was slightly faster on the kumho xs than the ad08 but the xs is a nightmare in rain and wears quicker. the ad08 also was more predictable at the limit
that and the re11 are two of my favorite street tires
if you have stockish suspension you'll be able to rock pretty good the car with that amount of grip

I have upgraded sways and an aggressive street alignment, double adjustable coilovers with 550 springs up front and 650 springs in the rear will arrive next week, so I'm pretty stoked about that.
I had it narrowed down to 3 tires...the RE-11's, these AD08's....and the Toyo 888 R-comps
decided to give up R-comp grip because everyone who uses the 888's on the street says they have a nearly unbearable amount of road noise.
that left the RE-11 and these...I went with these because I considered both tires equal as most others do, accept maybe these are slightly more predictable at the limit for safety in canyon runs, but maybe a touch behind the RE-11 in the wet.
So ultimately I chose these over the RE-11 for two reasons.
1. It doesn't rain much where I live.
2. Toque got the RE-11's and could provide the forum a review of those, so I thought I'd try these and provide a review.
The only other street tire that probably competes in overall performance to the RE-11 and these AD08's is the Micheline Sport Cups...but those are MUCH more pricey....so between me and Toque maybe more people will get one of these two, and manufacturers will continue to R&D these kinds of tires in our sizes.

I got this set from TR and ran about $1,400 for all four shipped...is the best "mod" I've made to the car so far!
all reports are that these do well in the wet though
will update next time she sees water, though that may be awhile ;-)

i had the ad08 on my last honda autocross car for street tires. would up getting right at 20k out of a set which was similar to the utqg 300 yoke s drive i had before. the ad08 doesn't scrub like harder tires so you don't sandpaper it into the ground as easily. the big blocks really help aggressive driving
they also behaved well when wearing. i remember the kumho xs got dicey after repeated heat cycles. by half tread the tires started getting "snappy" the ad08 never did and was predictable until nearly bald
