Default After market shifters

What is a very popular after market shifter today? Ive searched this topic and my results were dated. As mentioned before the stock shifter seems like a engineering mistake.

Take your pick:
MGW
HURST
B&M

Anything is better than that stock pos shifter. Different people have different preferences on the shifters. I personally made the switch from a HURST to an MGW and definitely no regrets.

The RSD snap shifter is a good one. Really short throw. Snap shifter with the antivenom mod is a great combo.

Switched to MGW and it's the best one I have had. Liked it so much I put it in my other car.

i tried all of the three mentioned above (B&M, hurst and MGW) and settled on the MGW as the best in my opinion for my needs. it really comes down to a personal opinion as anyone who has a replacement shifter that they are happy with will tell you that the one they have is the best. personally, i found that the MGW was the most exacting shift and that the other two models (again my opinion and for my needs) were pretty stiff relatively speaking and not all that smooth to shift. in addition, i appreciated the way the MGW could be adjusted as to position (which the others couldn't). my suggestion if at all possible would be to see if you couldn't get to drive a car with one of each so you could really make a valued choice. in my case, i actually bought each of them (from members here) installed them and tried them out for a short while to decide if i liked that particular product until i settled on the MGW. then i resold the models i decided didn't fit my needs.

I had the MGW but it wasn't for me. It's a quality shifter however, I prefer the smooth shift of the C6 shifter. The snap shifter is a cutdown C6 shifter.

I also installed MGW and really like it. Quality is top shelf. As mentioned in other replies anything is better than stock and I agree~easy to install so dont sweat it.

About the only thing to add is the TPS 427x, that's basically a C6 Z06 with a shorter throw. I installed one last night in my vette and I like it, but I can't compare to the others cause I've never tried them.
