No fantasy cars, (unless you really can afford them).

Funny because the Corvette has been the only weekend sports car I ever wanted.
My daily drivers have been sport and performance business sedans, so I would have probably just upgraded those more often. I'm currently eyeballing the new Cadillac ATS or even the 2014 CTS as a couple options for my next DD.

Hmmm, good question. I sold my heavily modded Stealth (AWD, 490 to the wheels), and 300ZX TT (360 to the wheels), and neither of them compare to the ZO6. The Stealth was obviously quicker in a straight line, but an endless money pit (same with the 300ZX).
3 that come to mind are:
LS3 6 speed C6 Vette
one of the newer BOSS 302s.
low mileage 03-04 Cobra

My last 3 autos
88 Toyota Supra, just sold it. Had it for 20 years. He got a deal, but he promised to restore it. So I gave it away for 1/2 Nada.
92 Ford F150 - I purchased because it was cheaper to buy a used pick than rent a Uhaul truck for across country move. I had for 5 years, it until the clutch gave out.
Purchased a used 1999 GMC Sierra pickup in 2002 from the bank I worked at. We got first choose on the Lease Returns. Great pickup. Still have it.
I hope my vette lasts longer than my last three autos.

A 1968 Mercury Cougar that was lowered a little, complete electronic upgrade including DVD/Nav, and a 5.0 pushing 450ish hp. I would have painted it the Cyber gray color and run ZR1 type rims.
I have done 3 Cougars already over the years, custom and stock versions but if I didn't have my Vettes now....I know have that much more skill AND VISION to rock a bitchin Cougar.

First choice would be either a C6 or the soon to be released C7. But, I would also go for a Nissan 370Z or perhaps a slightly used CTS-V.
