How Does The Forum...
Impact your day? Where do you browse the Forum the most? Is it a necessity for you to check it anytime you are on the computer/toilet ? Or can you leave it be?
For me... I would be lost without it! It has saved me time and money. Not to mention being an EXCELLENT way to pass the time while stuck here....
But when I am here I always have a close eye on the Corvette!

I went "semi-retired" 5 years ago, so I have a little more free time than I used to, consequently I can check in more often than in the past. My usual "MO" is to check in in the AM, before I go to work on Monday and Tuesday. Then I'll spend a little time here after dinner. Wednesday, I work only a half day, so I may check in before work, but sometimes I wait until I get home, and browse through here while I have lunch.
The rest of the week, usually depends on the weather. Nice weather, I'm outside puttering around, so less time here, but I always check in at least once a day...

I'm not afraid to answer the question .... I myself have a lot of time on my hands during the day .... On a good day I have at least 3 pre-construction meetings, which is normally when I sart getting on the forum ....it helps with passing a 12 hour day , five days a week ..
I cover on average 75,000 miles a year on the ground I work all over the country .i used to tell or make fun of people that done the Facebook thing but not anymore , I know also use Facebook when I meet forum members its a blast man ...
I've noticed here lately that there are a ton of new forum members ,and I also notice that these new members are excepted easier than some of us were from when I became a member .... I remember some of you'll were really hard on me as we'll as others , but I broke threw the barrier I was finally excepted by some of you guys ... There were times when I would tell my wife f..f the guys .... But I'm glad I hung in there , members like Bill , Jack and Roland in there in way guided me threw ... ( thanks )
Back to the topic if it weren't for the forum my car would not be where it is today , it was built with ideas from a few cars or members with my own spin on it ...the forum has become an everyday part of my life ... I'm always here and lurking ... If I had a wish it would be to see more of the old school members and ladies to be more active there is room for all of us here to grow in friendships and in corvette knowledge ... After all if it were not for you old school members the Corvette Forum would not be a great place to blow off our days ...

I'll check the forum early in the day, take a quick glance a few times throughout the day, and then spend a few hours in the evening on the forum while watching some TV. I've found the forum more entertaining than most of the TV shows anyway.

Been surfing CF daily since 2000.
Signed up in 2004 when I got my Z06.
I already had mods in hand before I got my Z06 due to my learning here.
Love being here. Saved me tons of $$, and I love being able to do stuff myself.
I also like to help out people that are new to it and hopefully help where I can.
Some say they find my web site (www.ToqueZ06.com) helpful. That makes it all worthwhile.

I usually start my day with a cup of coffee , the Today show, and the Corvette forum. Maybe a quick check in the midday, and again in the evening at prime time.

I came here to learn. I have have had a few Ford diesel pickups over the years and found a forum to learn about them (lots to learn there too). The folks on that forum were very helpful and taught me a lot. That is why I joined this site after buying my vert a few weeks ago. Always lots to learn and some great folks that are out there to help. After several years I have gotten to a point on the Ford diesel truck site that I can assist others now and hope to get to that point on this site as well. I owned a 77 Vette years ago, but a lot more to learn on the 03 vert I just bought. The 77 was easy compared to all the bells and whistles this one has. Thanks guys (and gals)! -Glenn

New Vette, new forum, I'm in and out here all day. I spend most of my time here in the parts and tech, I'd say I've saved at least 5/6k just in the parts I've bought for my car easy.
I've purchased a few new items, all from forum vendors, and bunch of stuff from members. Been lurkin for well over a year and registered when I finally had a bank roll to purchase. By the time I bought a car here off a member, I knew what I wanted to do to the car, and have found everything right here.
Everyone's been great to deal with, and always helpful.

I love the Forum -- saves money, some really informative members, cool cars, etc. Lately I've been hanging out on C7 (not that I'll even look at one until 2020 or so ) Some really heated discussions -- I've put 3X more folks there on ignore than in the prior 8 years hanging out in C4 and C5 sections! I also like the regional (NE) section -- keeping up to date with local events and members.
I probably spend at minimum 15 minutes/day -- but if I am not on a project and the weather stinks? I don't want to say!

I check it maybe a couple times a day to see what the chatter is about, but let me ask you, you keep your Corvette on a police monitor parked outside Boston PD, you're a dispatcher?

For the Corvette enthusiast, this forum is a must have, just as valuable as a good tool box. I have more involvement with my corvette than any other car I've ever owned, and I've owned quite a few. And when you have to go the DIY route, it's best to come here and post questions to some of the knowledgeable members here. And as far as what parts you need, again, the Corvette Forum comes to the rescue.
