Default Repeat computer code ??

I Have an 03 Z06 with a Vararam intake. I constantly get a code P0174 Fuel Trim System Lean Bank 2 and P0171 Fuel Trim System Lean Bank 1. I've been told It's a mass airflow sensor causing it due to the Vararam. I do not believe the car has ever been tuned. Should It? I assume things are off since the Vararam takes in so much more air. Lastly I notice it's more common in hot weather. It hardly ever pops up when it was cold. Now that it's hot i can reset the code and within a 1/4 tank of fuel it's on again. Any ideas??

tune will cure it, but if you're going to be modding in the near future, wait for those to go on, and then tune it all at once
