Yea, that's going to be a sore spot for sure, maybe I should paint it checkered flag pattern? Hahahahahah

No, it's staying polished and I'm just going to shoulder the burden and Drive on.

"High speed, low drag"

My favorite vehicle, so the Vette has a lot to live up to and the S/C will help with that.

I've been wanting to SC my Z06, been holding off cause I want to upgrade all down the line so I don't start breaking the weak links later on. I went through that on my 70 Mach 1, build engine = four broken trannies. Build tranny = twisted driveshaft+ broken U joints + broken tailshaft housing. Upgrade driveshaft + U joints = Broken U bolts holding axle to leaf springs + broken axle studs and almost losing wheel, only 1 lug holding it on. Don't want to follow that path again.

From a engineering standpoint and years designing, THERE WILL ALWAYS BE A WEAK POINT. Finding them is easy, avoiding them is just time related.

Sometimes we have engineered weak links. Usually someting that is not cost prohibitive and easily replaced is best. Just how weak to make it can be difficult, want it just weak enough to fail before other more costly parts, but don't want it to fail too easily.
